Here’s one of the most meaningful lyrics from one of my most favorite Christmas songs growing up As children we believed the grandest sight to see was something lovely wrapped beneath our tree, well heaven surely knows, that packages and bow can never heal a hurting human soul I absolutely love the holiday season, especially here in Charleston, it truly is my favorite time of year. With all the thoughtful gifts at this time of year, my gift to myself this upcoming year is peace, love, and joy. Sometimes God takes something out of our lives that does not serve His ultimate plan for us, because He truly knows what’s best and doesn’t desire for us to live a life of pain and suffering.
