On the second day of Christmas my true love gave to me…this stunning house on the Battery

29 East Bay -This beautiful home is finally uncovered after over a year renovation. It is definitely a must see!

The Compromise House ~ This has always been my favorite house on the Battery, ever since I was a little girl. As you stroll along the Charleston Battery, you’ll find this magnificent home at 29 East Bay, with two different architectural designs. The story goes, as I have shared with others…A young couple married and left on an extended European honeymoon. While they were celebrating their new marriage, the father of the bride, had this stunning dream home built for them. The bride had dreamed of an Italian architectural design, yet the groom had desired Greek. Highlighting the compromise needed in marriage, the father of the bride designed a home inspired with both Italian and Greek architectural designs.

Compromise is a bridge you will need to cross in any relationship or marriage. Sadly I did not receive this from my husband, as he instead decided to physically and emotionally abuse, cheat, and discard me, only to protect his reputation, instead of valuing marriage and being open to merging perspectives and molding a life together. I have now learned that one should not compromise their boundaries, their safety, and their character for the sake of a relationship.
